A clearer process

From questions to a practical plan

You should understand your options before buying anything. Our process is designed to make that easy.

Tell us what you notice

Share concerns such as taste, odor, spotting, buildup, dry skin, or questions about your local water supply.

See a basic screening

We perform an educational in-home screening and show you the results. When laboratory analysis is appropriate, we explain that separately.

Compare sensible options

You receive plain-language guidance based on your household, goals, plumbing, water source, and budget.

Why we start with water

One solution does not fit every home

Municipal water and private wells present different questions. Household size, plumbing, taste preferences, maintenance expectations, and target contaminants also affect the right approach.

  • Point-of-use drinking water options
  • Whole-home filtration and conditioning options
  • Combined approaches for drinking and household water
  • Clear discussion of upkeep, space, and expected costs before purchase

Transparent testing

What the free screening does—and does not—cover

No vague promises. You will know the purpose and limits of the screening before we begin.

The in-home screening can help you

  • Discuss visible or sensory water concerns
  • Review basic water characteristics with on-site demonstration methods
  • Understand which filtration categories may fit your goals
  • Prepare better questions for your utility, well professional, or laboratory

It is not a certified laboratory analysis

  • It does not diagnose health conditions
  • It does not confirm every contaminant that may be present
  • Specific concerns such as bacteria, lead, arsenic, PFAS, or other contaminants may require accredited laboratory testing
  • Product performance depends on the specific system, certification, conditions, and maintenance

If you suspect an urgent water safety issue, follow guidance from your local public health authority or water utility. We can help you understand where an accredited laboratory test may fit, but our screening is educational.
